Chef Showdown is a one-of-a-kind fundraising event that highlights two teams of San Diego’s top chefs for an evening of action-packed “Iron-Chef” style competition. Each team shows off their skills and flavor combination along with their own mixologist creating pairings for each dish they create.
The 9th Annual Chef Showdown will also feature Emmy award winner Sam “The Cooking Guy” Zien and Marcela Valladolid of the Food Network’s Mexican Made Easy as the emcees, and the culinary competition will be judged by a panel of judges headed by Chef Bernard Guillas from The Marine Room. In addition, there will be a silent auction, a live auction, an opportunity drawing and food and wine tasting from over 25 restaurants.
